About Us

We have been serving the Vidor Community for over 20 years

The primary mission of the United Christian Care Center of Vidor is to assist low-income families in the Vidor area by providing food and clothing.

In addition to providing food and clothing, the Center has served as a distribution point for the Entergy fan program. This program provided fans for low-income elderly and disabled individuals.

When funds are available, the Care Center provides school supplies at the start of the school year for up to 100 students and distributes holiday baskets to 300 families.

A representative from the Southeast Texas Food Bank comes to the Care Center at least once a month to assist people in applying for food stamps.

The Christian Care Center is currently open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00AM to noon and is located at 293 Wilson Street.

To request assistance, please bring a photo ID and current utility bill showing residence in the Vidor area. For additional information, please contact the Christian Care Center.
